Colorful Street

sold.

This was not only a colorful street, but a colorful town in general! It is in France, right next to some hills made of very beautiful dirt, and I guess they use that to make pigment, and use that to make paint to color the houses. Pretty cool. Can I remember the name of the town? Nope. Why am I so bad at that? (retorical)

InEngland that color used to be made with ox blood mixed into the plaster! Not any more. Love the painting.
I have an image I'd like to send you.....a useful addition to a dailypainters studio. Can I do that?

Thank you Jacqueline! You are exactly right - I looked it up. : )

Thanks, Martine! It sounds beautiful in French, though I did have to google translate it to understand. : )

Thanks, Tan. That is very interesting. Please feel free to email me the image - me@carolmarine.com. I'm very curious. : )
